SMILES

yyeeaaahh..!!

Assalamualaikum...guys....!!
How are you ??..Alhamdulillah..praise be to Allah...

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa......???..What the picture is about??..Mouth?..Nose?..Half-face??..no 'lah'...please open your mind okay..!!..hahaha..

Today,we gonna learn about SMILE?..What is smile?..Is it kind of face expression??..Okay,we gonna explain to you..The SMILES mentioned is actually an abbreviation of the Simplified Molecular-Input Line-Entry System, which is a specification in form of a line notation for describing the structure of chemical molecules using short ASCII strings.

In other words, SMILES is the formula used for sketching molecular structure in ChemSketch.

Did you forgot about the Chemsketch??..Okay,please review the older post or just click here to read about ChemSketch.

Some examples of SMILES :

Molecule Structure SMILES Formula
Dinitrogen N≡N N#N
Copper (II) Sulphate Cu2+ SO42- [Cu+2].[O-]S(=O)(=O)[O-]
Glucose (glucopyranose) (C6H12O6) Molecular structure of glucopyranose OC[C@@H](O1)[C@@H](O)[C@H](O)[C@@H](O)[C@@H](O)1
Vanillin Molecular structure of vanillin O=Cc1ccc(O)c(OC)c1
Melatonin (C13H16N2O2) Molecular structure of melatonin CC(=O)NCCC1=CNc2c1cc(OC)cc2

Okay, that's all for today.....thank you guys.....
